Hawaii Fire Department personnel are transporting a man believed to be in his 40s who was bit by a tiger shark Wednesday evening at Kiholo Bay.
The man was bit in the forearm by a tiger shark while in the waters at Kiholo Bay, said Battalion Chief Steve Loyola, who was responding to the report that came in shortly after 6 p.m. He said the man was being prepared to be transported to North Hawaii Community Hospital. He was not yet aware of the man’s condition.
